TO/DIE/FOR Singer To Guest On New DAS SCHEIT Album

Vocalist Jarno "Jape" Perätalo of the Finnish gothic metal band TO/DIE/FOR will make a guest appearance on the upcoming album from the German gothic metallers DAS SCHEIT. Jape will sing on track called "Because the Night", which is said to be a cover of the song originally composed by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith (and later recorded by 10,000 MANIACS). The CD will be recorded in March for a tentative late summer release.

TO/DIE/FOR's fifth album, "Wounds Wide Open", was released in Finland in October 2006. The follow-up to 2005's "IV", "Wounds Wide Open" was recorded by Samu Oittinen at Fantom Studios and by Jari-Jukka Nippala at Sonic Image, and was mixed at Sweden's Abyss Studios by Peter Tägtgren (DIMMU BORGIR, CELTIC FROST).

Nuclear Blast last year reissued TO/DIE/FOR's "All Eternity" (2000) and "Epilogue" (2001) albums as a double-CD package. The cover art can be viewed at this location.
